I have always been passionate about FOOD! My parents loved to cook and always encouraged my brother and I to help out in the kitchen. This really ignited my desire to cook for myself, both as a teenager and throughout adulthood.

Up until about 10 years ago, I was completely unaware of the impact my eating habits had on my body, the animals and the environment. In 2010, I spent a rigorous, but life-changing, summer in Costa Rica hiking from coast to coast. During my journey, I met farmers who taught me their trade and the ancient ways of living off the land. Learning how closely connected they were with nature was truly inspiring. They only used what they needed, gave back what they could and asked for blessings and forgiveness from souls of the animals they consumed. Working side-by-side with the farmers, I learned first-hand how everything we do affects the stability of the planet and the numerous ecosystems within it.

Upon my return to the States, I made a vow to become a more thoughtful and conscious being. For me, this meant removing all animal by-products from my diet. While initially it was a struggle, over time it has become fun and exciting - it is now a passion. I love developing new recipes that leave myself and our clients completely satiated and nourished without compromising my values. This is the joy I find in cooking healthy, nutritious, plant based food. And, this joy and commitment, I bring to Plantitude each and everyday.


WHAT WE DO

Plantitude explores and shares what we know about plant-based living so that others can confidently move towards a healthier lifestyle with ease. Simply put, we transform classic foods - full of nostalgia and fun - into healthy, plant-based meals.

We believe that to be the healthiest versions of ourselves, we must start with the foods we eat. Backed by thorough research, we recognize that true health starts from within. By giving our body proper nutrition, free of toxins and pesticides, we can best protect our bodies from environmental carcinogens, disease and premature aging.

What started as a whole food, plant-based meal delivery program, has now evolved into so much more. Because we believe people strive to eat healthier - but simply don’t know where to start or how easy it can be - we provide a variety of avenues to enjoy delicious, nutritious foods that are great for your body and the planet.

You will find us at your doorstep, at your next office party, a festival or any place to get you guilt-free, nutritious, plant-based food. Along with meal delivery, Plantitude offers event vending, catering, recipe/menu consulting, recipe sharing and lifestyle coaching to help you fully incorporate your new eating habits and create the best version of you possible. We want you to not just survive - but to thrive.

Committed to using the cleanest, freshest and most nutrient dense produce possible, we always source non-GMO and pesticide-free. We do not use animal products in any of our offerings. Our kitchen is free from toxins and our packaging is eco-friendly.

We strengthen our relationship with our community by meeting and working with local farmers, participating in community outreach programs, and promoting/supporting businesses who strive to heal our planet.
